A moisture sensor is a must for all turf grass managers. This sensor calibrates in percentages and read out is immediate. Moisture can be checked at any level from 1″ to 4″ deep. Quick adjustable base allows easy depth adjustment for readings above, in and below the root zone. By monitoring the moisture in the soil, you can control the correct amount of irrigation each time you water. Dry spots can be identified before they become visually apparent without causing damage to stressed turf grass. Water movement problems are easily detected with the variable depth feature. Readings are in percentages from 0% to 100%.
